Small Knowledge Of Medical Consumables (Syringe) - Analysis Of Its Function And Operation
Feb 21, 2023
The creation of syringes is a landmark reform in the medical industry. The whole process of extracting/introducing gas or liquid is called injection. The syringe is composed of a needle with a small round hole in the front and a matching piston rod core rod. When the core rod is pulled out, the liquid or gas is sucked in from the small round hole in front of the needle. When the core rod is sent in, the liquid/gas is squeezed out from the needle hole to complete the injection.
Syringes can also be used for medical equipment and utensils, for example, in some chromatographic instruments and equipment to inject across the plastic diaphragm. Injecting gas into capillaries will cause air embolism. The way to remove gas from the syringe to prevent blood vessel blockage is to invert the syringe, gently tap it, and then squeeze out a little liquid before injecting it into the blood.
1. Analysis of common problems (precautions)
(1) This product is disposable. Reuse is strictly prohibited, and it shall be destroyed immediately after use.
(2) After being disinfected by ethylene oxide, this product must be used within the invalid period.
(3) The single package is damaged or the plug cover falls off. It is forbidden to use it and the damage shall be solved.
(4) The equipment shall be stored in a naturally ventilated and dry room with air humidity less than or equal to 80%.
(5) Carry out formal application according to relevant policies and regulations.
2. Operation guide.
(1) Tear off the packaging bag and take off the syringe.
(2) Remove the protective shell of the injection needle, drive the core rod to roll back and forth, and tighten the injection needle.
(3) Then insert it into the liquid medicine and slowly pull up the core rod to remove the gas.
(4) Conduct subcutaneous tissue, intramuscular injection or blood test.
